Family Layers

An interesting take on a family tree. The layers of a tree (outer bark, inner bark, cambium, sapwood, heartwood) each play an important part in how a tree functions. The virtuous actions of my family members are compared to the actions of the tree layers. Since a few family members show up on more than one layer, a grid system was put into place for quick and easy identification.

Each layer of paper was hand cut and bound together in a book.
